Use the chance to get an in depth feedback on your portfolio tailored to the children’s book market from an agent, who also knows the business and the craft as an illustrator. Each month I will be doing a limited number of portfolio reviews. So safe your seat for this month!

The feedback will be provided as a video in English or German based on your language preferences.

What is special about these PORTFOLIO REVIEWS?

• You will not only receive a one time feedback, but if you hand in your revised portfolio within 8 WEEKS after receiving your feedback, I will give you a second video feedback on your art with hands on advice on how to improve your art further and support you on your creative journey

This means the PORTFOLIO REVIEW includes:

• 2 personal video feedbacks

• video 1 on your initial illustrations

• video 2 on your revised portfolio (make sure to stick to the schedule of a max. of 8 weeks!)

What you get is

• a personal feedback on the art you submit

• I will pick the pieces that will catch the most attention

• and suggest how to best arrange them

• you will get feedback on the pieces I select for your portfolio in case they need some attention and enhancement

• I will review your new portfolio and give feedback on how to still improve it

What do I need to submit for the PORTFOLIO REVIEW?

• min. 15 - max. 30 of your strongest illustrations

• resolution of all files at 150dpi please

• JPG format

• the longest side of your file should not exceed 2000px please

• answer the questions in the questionnaire to guarantee the best possible review

• for established children’s book illustrators to take your career to the next level and keep rocking the children’s book world

When will I receive my PORTFOLIO REVIEW?

• You will receive video no. 1 with your personal PORTFOLIO REVIEW within 14 days after handing in your portfolio

How to qualify for the second PORTFOLIO REVIEW?

• after you received your feedback, you have 8 WEEKS to resubmit your revised portfolio for a final feedback! Don’t be late and waste this extra chance!

• Do not send in any other material as the revised illustrations from your first feedback, as any additional files will not get reviewed!

After 4 weeks have passed your extra feedback expires!

Why a schedule of 8 weeks?

• this is for accountability and motivation!

• this way you have a deadline to stick to

• to make sure you get ready to promote your art
